I was approached by Oregon State University Press to design the cover of Richard Brown's Memoir: This Is Not For You. Richard Brown is a photographer and Black Activist in Portland Oregon.
For this project, I created a textured vector portrait, rendering a photo of the author over and over, focusing on different intensities of shadows and highlights, then hand coloring and drawing in outlines.
